This huge, shaggy sheepskin rug is from a British Jacob breed, with its characteristic brown and cream spotty colouring.
The fleece is soft and features long haired wool that is more matted towards the root. Unlike many of our rugs, it does not have the tightly packed wool layer underneath the surface. There are a few more matted patches, but the rug is still lovely, thick, and luxurious, with a beautiful depth and texture.
This rug is not just huge in size at 110 x 83cm, but the thick fleece makes it feel very heavy to hold too. Rugs likes this don't come along very often!
The cream colour can vary greatly, from a paler to a more golden yellow cream, depending on the lighting. Our pictures were taken indoors, under natural lighting.
