Angelica Badger Face Breed British Sheepskin Rug

This enormous, rustic, golden cream rare breed rug features some dark brown patches at either edge as well as in each bottom corner. There are also some grey and brown highlights speckled throughout the rug, only seen if the fleece is brushed in a certain direction. 

As our sheepskins are tanned in bulk, all mixed together, we can only guess at the exact breed based on colour and texture. In this case we think this unique sheepskin is likely from a Badger Face Welsh Mountain breed due to the dark black marking along the belly (the edges of the sheepskin).

The fleece is very shaggy, with soft long hair on the surface, with the commonly found very matted wool beneath the surface, this gives the rug a lovely thickness. Over time this rug will get more woolly, but a good brush will help fluff it up again. 

Tanned in the UK and hand-finished in house, most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We  pick a few out each week for sale online every few weeks. Once they're gone they're gone!
