A Classic Sherlock Deerstalker Hat - Made in Britain with British wool tweed from British sheep.

Step into the world of classic British style with our traditional deerstalker hat. This distinctive design features ear flaps and ribbon ties, reminiscent of the iconic style made famous by the legendary fictional detective we all know and love. Made in the North of England using 100% British Wool tweed, it’s warm, breathable, and built to last.

Although now more commonly known as ‘the Sherlock hat’, the deerstalker has its roots in 19th-century country life. Originally worn during outdoor pursuits in the Scottish Highlands, it offers protection from wind, rain, and cold. The ear flaps can be tied under the chin or over the crown, making it a practical companion, whatever the weather.

But this hat is more than just functional - it’s stylish too! Made from classic locally-woven British Wool, the deerstalker adds a touch of class to any outfit. So, whether you’re out on a brisk country walk or channelling your inner detective, it makes a bold, unmistakably British statement.

We believe this is the most sustainable and natural deerstalker hat you can buy. Made from responsibly sourced British Wool and manufactured locally, it reflects our commitment to heritage and the environment. We like to think Glencroft would be the brand of choice for any Victorian sleuth - surely even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would approve!

Choose from three classic British tweeds: Green Herringbone, Green Check and Brown Plaid (Tartan).
