Tooting Speckled British Sheepskin Rug

This big, thick and heavy British rare breed sheepskin rug is predominantly a natural cream colour featuring a beautiful blend of grey and brown highlights. 

The lighting can greatly affect the appearance of the natural colours - our photos have been taken inside under natural lighting. 

This shaggy rug is lovely and soft, and like most of our fleeces, wispy hair sits on top of more tightly packed, very matted wool underneath, giving it a lovely padded feel. 

There is some variation in the fleece length with a slightly shorter woolled patch on either side, common on natural sheepskins. The rug is also not quite symmetrical due to the way it has been hand trimmed.

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.

Most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online, once they're gone they're gone!
