Whitechapel Brown and Grey British Sheepskin Rug

This thick, fluffy rare breed sheepskin rug is a combination of shades of brown, grey and cream.  We call this natural colouring, 'wolfie'.

The appearance of natural colours can vary GREATLY depending on the lighting, our photos were taken inside under natural lighting which can really highlight the slightly lighter grey parts of the fleece making them quite white. Under artificial lighting the colour can appear a lot more flat with far less highlights, more of a darker browny grey all over without any highlights.

The rug is soft to touch, with longer wispy hair on top of tightly packed, matted wool underneath, giving the rug a lovely thickness. Shorter woolled sections on either edge, and longer haired wool in the corners, add variation to the fleece. 

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
