This rare breed sheepskin rug is primarily a very dark brown colour, almost black, with a central patch of grey highlights. Colours can vary depending on the lighting, this rug can look black in certain light.
As all our rugs our tanned together the specific breed is a best guess, but this colouring is likely from a Hebridean sheep breed.
This shorter woolled sheepskin rug is soft to touch, with longer wool in the centre, adding texture.
Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
