Cortado Cream Spot British Sheepskin Rug

This British rare breed sheepskin rug is primarily cream in colour, featuring a single large brown spot, and a few tiny brown flecks. The cream colour can vary depending on the lighting, our photos were all taken under natural light, it may look more golden cream under artificial lighting. 

The fleece is VERY woolly and matted, yet still soft and fluffy, with a lovely depth. Over time the middle of the rug will likely appear more matted and cotton wool like. This is why it is at a slightly lower price.

There is some variation with the fleece length, there is a small bald patch on one side, common on natural sheepskins and included deliberately when we hand trim as it ensures that the rug will sit flat without curling under. The wool is also shorter on either edge, creating a slight stepped effect, a lovely unique feature. 

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
