Preston Cream Speckled British Sheepskin Rug

This soft and silky rare breed sheepskin rug is predominantly a golden cream, speckled with numerous brown and some subtle grey highlights. 

The colouring of the rug can vary significantly depending on the lighting. Our photos have been taken indoors under natural light.

The fleece is very soft to touch, with wispy longer hair on top and tightly packed wool beneath the surface, adding a lovely depth to the rug. 

There is some variation with the fleece length, with shorter fuzzier wool found on either edge as well as a small bald patch. These are common on natural sheepskins and correspond to the different parts of the animal. 

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.

Most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online, once they're gone they're gone!
