A genuine sheepskin hat made in the UK, which features a large brim and outseam crown.

This is an update to the classic 6-piece genuine sheepskin hats we've made for over 35 years. We're now using outseams on the crown for a unique look and a smooth inside for added comfort.

This is a hat that will keep you warm at the top of a mountain, so we named it after the beautiful peak on our doorstep - Ingleborough.

This is a natural material, colour and texture will vary from the photos depending on sheepskin available at time of manufacture. Some brims can be matt brown or black, some can have a more silver tip. Please get in touch if you wish to see exactly what we have.

Materials

Real Sheepskin: This hat has been manufactured by us in-house using one of our 50+ year old industrial overlock sewing machines.

We select the very best 'doubleface' sheepskin, called such as one 'face' is finished suede and the other 'face' is the fleece dyed to a consistent colour and length. We use a mix of both British tanned and Turkish tanned sheepskin, from both British and European sheep.

Sheepskin is one of the warmest and most robust natural materials around, this hat should last for decades.
