Brixton Cream Badger Face Welsh Mountain Sheepskin Rug

This rare breed cream sheepskin rug features dark brown patches along the edges and light brown highlights. Because our sheepskins are tanned in bulk and mixed together, the exact breed is sometimes difficult to confirm, but based on its distinctive colouring with dark patches at either side, we believe this unique rug comes from the ‘Torddu’ colour variation of the Badger Face Welsh Mountain sheep - a white sheep with a dark brown belly.

The rug is super soft and fluffy, with some natural variation with the fleece length. There is a slightly shorter haired patch in the centre, revealing the light brown colour beneath the cream wool. There are also some small bald patches along either edge, deliberately remaining to help prevent the rug from curling under.

The natural colouring of the rug can vary significantly depending on the lighting. Our photos have been taken outdoors in natural light, which highlights the light brown tones in the fleece. When viewed indoors, the rug tends to appear predominantly cream, though the exact shade may vary depending on the lighting conditions.

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
