This sheepskin rug is dark brown in colour, featuring a few subtle white highlights on one side.
Although not the biggest rug, we've included it online with our premium rugs as the fleece is so .very soft, with longer hair on the surface and more tightly packed wool at the root. Often the softest rugs are slightly smaller as from younger animals.
There is some variation in the fleece length, with a shorter wooled section and small bald patch on one edge, this is common on natural sheepskins and corresponds to the different parts of the animal.
Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
Most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online, once they're gone they're gone!
