Hibiscus Speckled British Sheepskin Rug - Slight Second

A British rare breed sheepskin rug, primarily cream in colour, speckled with subtle highlights in several shades of brown.

This rug is a 'slight second' quality as the wool across the middle is extremely matted and woolly, it will likely flatten much further with time leaving a dip in the middle of the rug. This has likely been caused by this being from a very old sheep that's had the rain on its back for many years. Hence this is available at a reduced price.

The whole fleece is very woolly. It is soft and fluffy to touch, with wispy wool found on top of an extremely matted layer underneath.

Please note, colours can vary depending on the lighting, our photos have been taken inside under natural light. This rug will look more golden under artificial lighting.

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
