Camden Caramel Speckled British Sheepskin Rug

This British rare breed sheepskin rug is a beautiful blend of numerous shades of browns and golden yellow cream, with some very subtle grey highlights. 

The lighting can greatly affect the appearance of the natural colours - our photos have been taken inside under natural lighting. It can look a much flatter and darker beigey golden brown under artificial lighting, ie. indoors at night.

The rug is lovely and soft, and like most of our fleeces, wispy hair sits on top of more tightly packed, matted wool underneath, giving it a lovely padded feel. There is some variation in the fleece length with shorter wool and small bald patches on either edge. This is common on natural sheepskins and deliberately remaining to prevent the rug from curling under.

You will see from the picture of the rug laid flat that it is not quite symmetrical. The right side bulges out more than the left.

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
