This spotty British Jacob breed of sheepskin rug is a combination of cream and shades of brown, the two distinctive colours of the breed.
Lovely and soft to touch, the wool is very tightly packed giving it a padded spongey feel; there is some fine wispy hair above a matted underneath layer.
The natural colouring can vary dependent on lighting, our pictures have been taken inside.
This sheepskin has been repaired, although it is only evident on the back of the rug. This skin was just too good to downgrade to a second, so we fixed any damage by sewing it together. What you get is a perfect sheepskin, albeit with stitching on the back.
Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
