Pinner Pink Stripe British Sheepskin Rug

This British rare breed sheepskin rug is predominantly cream, featuring some subtle patches of light brown and grey toward the edges of the fleece. An unusual pink stripe appears at the top of the rug, a traditional farmer’s smit mark, used to help identify the sheep.

The colours can vary depending on the lighting, our photos have been taken inside under natural lighting. 

The short woolled (~3cm fleece length) rug is super soft, with some variation in the fleece length with shorter wool on either edge. It has four naturally occuring bald patches, two on each edge, common on natural sheepskins and deliberately left during hand finishing to prevent the rug from curling under and keep it as large as possible.

Tanned in the UK and hand-finished in house, most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online every few weeks. Once they're gone they're gone!
