An enormous natural white sheepskin rug, a rich golden cream in colour with a single dark brown spot and some very subtle light brown highlights. The cream can look paler under natural light, like our photos, compared to indoor artificial light, where it can look a much more golden yellow colour.
The fleece is very thick and woolly, soft to touch on the surface, it is extremely matted underneath, giving the rug a great depth and a lovely padded feel. This texture is typical of really large rugs as they will have come from older sheep which have been in the fields a good few years.
Like all of our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
Most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online, once they're gone they're gone!
