This British rare breed sheepskin rug has a cream base, speckled with numerous shades of brown. The colouring will look different under artificial indoor lighting compared to our photos taken outside with natural lighting.
The fleece is super soft to touch, although the fluffy wool is VERY matted beneath the surface. It is particularly woolly and matted down the middle, a bit like cotton wool to touch. There is a tiny bald patch on one edge, common on natural sheepskins and often remains after hand trimming.
Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
Most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online, once they're gone they're gone!
