Nand Cream Speckled Badger Face British Sheepskin Rug

This rare breed sheepskin rug is predominantly a natural cream colour, speckled with subtle highlights of greys and browns, with dark brown featuring in each corner and either edge.  

The fleece is very soft to touch, with wispy hair on top of more tightly packed wool, giving the rug a lovely thickness. There is a small bald patch on one edge, common on natural sheepskins and deliberately left when hand trimmed to prevent the rug from curling under.

It is likely from the distinctive Badger Face Welsh Mountain sheep breed, Torddu variety, which is mainly white with a black belly.

The colours can vary depending on the lighting, our photos have been taken outside under natural light but the cream can appear more golden under artificial indoor lighting.

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
