100% Wool Cornflower Blue Herringbone Travel Rug

A large Yorkshire-made 100% wool throw in a soft light blue herringbone pattern. The colour was specifically chosen to reflect the delicate beauty of the cornflower, giving it a distinctly British spring/summer feel. It’s finished with 3-inch-long tassels for that traditional throw blanket look.

Our 100% wool travel rug is woven in a traditional Yorkshire mill using two colours: the warp is white yarn (the longitudinal yarn that also forms the tassels), and the weft is a light cornflower blue yarn woven across it. The result is a predominantly blue throw with a bold, wide herringbone pattern.

Measuring 55 x 70 inches (excluding tassels), it’s about the size of a double bed. Perfect as an extra blanket for the bed, a stylish throw on your favourite chair, or a travel rug to keep in the car for those spontaneous trips to the countryside. After all, no one wants to be caught without a picnic blanket when adventure calls! Whether indoors or out, it’s the perfect wool throw for any setting.

Our Herringbone blanket is finished with a Glencroft label produced from recycled fibres.
