TRADE Large British Rare Breeds - Assorted

An assorted mixture of large rare breed rugs for trade buyers only - this consists of any natural colour that isn't plain white.

Our British rugs are very different to many other sheepskins you can buy as they are from British sheep, British tanned and we finish them by hand in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse. 

Our Rare Breeds come in every natural colour under the sun (or in the fields), so that's everything from slightly off white, to patterned cappuccinos, spotty Jacobs, greys, dark brown bear like and everything in between.

We supply an assorted mix only at trade prices, we don't know what patterns are coming through on any given week so it all depends what is in stock and coming through the system. We don't supply specific colours at trade prices, you will receive a mix.

Size wise they vary massively, depending on the animal, the time of the year (more big sheep often come through in Spring, more lambs in Summer/Autumn), the breed. Large rugs are the larger half of the rugs we are processing each month, usually from older animals. Roughly though, every 'large size' rug is a minimum of about 34 x 20 inches (85 x 50 cm) up to about 100cm long.

There will be a huge amount of variation so we recommend pricing rugs individually if you can to ensure you get your required margin across each batch.

The fleece length and texture will also vary per rug, large rugs tend to have longer fleeces and woollier textures than our standard size rugs.
