Although our sheepskins are tanned in bulk and we can't be certain of the breed, we believe this is likely from a Jacob sheep breed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLovely and soft, the fleece consists of longer tufty hair on top, with more tightly matted wool underneath, giving the rug a great thickness. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a slight dip in the centre of the rug, likely from where the rain has flattened down the top of the sheep's back over the year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLike all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country.
